MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer to John Ziegler: Why Was Palin So Offended By Letterman Jokes?

(HT: HotAir)

Yes, she really did ask that question to Conservative radio talk-show host John Ziegler earlier today. He basically gave her the same answer any rational, non-MSNBC watching human being would.

Here’s the interview. Those with high blood pressure may want to skip it though.

Btw, Conservatives4Palin has all you need to know about the Letterman “jokes” here and here.

Amazing how a liberal female reporter has no problem with another woman being called a slut on national TV and doesn’t bat an eye at outrageous comments about a 14 yr old girl by an adult male.

So, I can only assume that she’d have zero problem with statements like this made about Obama’s wife and kids.

  2. Bloodghett says:

I would have been curious to see some discussion take place and it seemed that Brewer might have been to, but the attitude of Ziegler was so arrogant and child like that it left Brewer completely flustered. Right out of the gate he came off as jerk! There is absolutly no content in this interview, no case made for Palin or Letterman, just MSNBC bashing!
    Incredible indeed!

Bloodghett, I’d have the same attitude as Ziegler if I was coming on Obama’s official news network, and heard the host of a show say that Letterman’s jokes were no big deal.

  3. Bloodghett says:

Really? You would take the opportunity to have honest discussion at hand and use that time to insult the network and look smug and silly?
I never seen or heard Zeigler before but after watching this little nugget I might be hard pressed to take him seriously in the future.

    • Nick says:

He was trying to have an honest discussion. It turned totally dishonest when Brewer said Letterman’s comments were no big deal. Anyone who believes that, and blindly defends Letterman, has no business being a news anchor. Btw, this wasn’t Ziegler’s first run-in with MSNBC, so it’s not like he was being rude out of the blue.
