Four members of Iranian soccer team forced to ‘retire’ after wearing green wristbands in game vs. South Korea

Remember this picture from last week, where several members of the Iranian soccer team (in a game against South Korea) wore green wristbands to show solidarity with the protesters in Iran? Well, that gesture has cost four of those members their spots on the team, according to Fox News.

Gatewaypundit had noted that at halftime, all of the Iranian players had taken off their wristbands, but didn’t know whether or not their decision to do so was voluntary. Well, it’s now safe to assume that it wasn’t.
